Speaking of the holiday, though, just a reminder that I will NOT be doing a ZOOM the Craftroom today! I’m going to be out-of-pocket and…I suspect you might be, too! So…I’ll be back in the craft room with you on Thursday evening at 7pm Eastern! 🙂
Now. My card today spans…the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog (Wonderful Thoughts stamp set and Perennial Postage Dies), the Online Exclusives (Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set) AND the new Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog (Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP). I’m an equal-opportunity stamper! I used them all to make a super pretty card to welcome Fall! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

I started by adhering a piece of Balmy Blue paper from the new Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSPon a Mossy Meadow mat for the card front.
I adhered a second Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP panel (in Cajun Craze) on another Mossy Meadow mat. Note: I adhered the DSP panel to the mat with the left edges lined up so that I could work with the sketch. ;).
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the matted panel to the card front.
I used a Perennial Postage die to cut out a piece of Mossy Meadow paper from the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP…
…and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped out my pretty little image using the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set (an online exclusive). My friend and teammate Judi Hartbarger had sent me a darling card using this set – and I got the inspiration for this little scene from her card! 🙂
Here’s what I stamped – ALL using the stamp images in Scenic Pumpkin Patch:
– Trees image in Pecan Pie ink.
– Pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie and the stems with Mossy Meadow ink.
– Leaves on the trees – twice in Crushed Curry and once in Pumpkin Pie.
– Barn in Cajun Craze ink.
– Roof in Early Espresso ink.
– Picket fence – twice – in Early Espresso ink.
Using Small Blending Brushes – VERY dry (aka hardly any ink on them!) – I added “ground” in Mossy Meadow and “sky” in Balmy Blue.
Then I cut out the image using the same Perennial Postage die that I’d used previously and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used two lengths of Copper Clay linen thread from the new Natural Tones Linen Thread (coming on 4 Sept in the new catalog) to tie a simple bow, which I adhered with a little Liquid Glue.
On another piece of the Balmy Blue paper from the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP, I stamped a sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts set in Mossy Meadow ink.
I used the small Perennial Postage die (see the photo above) to cut out the sentiment and then adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added three Basic Beige Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (available 4 Sept) and the card front was done.
For the inside, I stamped another little Scenic Pumpkin Patch scene in the corner of a Basic White panel. And I added some Mossy Meadow “ground” and Balmy Blue “sky” using the Small Blending Brushes.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Scenic Pumpkin Patch scene on the front…
…and more of the Balmy Blue Splendid Autumn DSP on the envelope flap.
